Paul okoye reacts, to facebook comment

Last week, there were widespread speculations that the P-Square brothers were splitting, which have drawn reactions from their fans and some celebrities as well. The social media platforms have also not stopped buzzing with various comments on the issue. In all, none of the singers have reacted to the tales. It would be recalled that the elder brother of the duo, Jude Okoye, had posted on his social media page with Twitter that “After over 10yrs of hard work, it's over. [I] am done,”

which fueled the rumour in the first place.Yesterday, news hit the blogosphere that one of the brothers, Paul Okoye, reacted to the rumour, going by a Facebook post by a purported account run by Paul. “After the storm comes the calm. Hoping for better days ahead as one family. God's intervention,”

the said Facebook account had said.In our fact finding mission, after we spotted the said posts, we contacted P-Square’s publicist, Bayo Adetu to confirm if Paul Okoye actually posted the said response on the internet.Mr. Adetu informed us that Paul Okoye does not operate a Facebook account. we  also found out that two separate accounts on Facebook purportedly run by the singer made the posts.

The first one with the name, Paul Okoye (P-Square), made the post on April 20 just as the other account (Paul Nonso Okoye). The two accounts have same picture profiles.

Eva shares her experience dealing with pimples

Talented Nigerian female singer, Eva Elohor Alordiah, popularly known as Eva, is one Nigerian star that is known for her uniqueness and artistry talents. Recently, the gorgeous lady shared a story of how she overcame her 6 years battle with acne, also known as pimples. However, she also gave step to step tips on ways to combat the face disorder, which is known to be part of the major causes of insecurities among young adults.Read below her explanations, as they might end up been favorable for those with acne.

Also, check out photos of her Acne before and after face.“Isn’t it sweet that after so many months, that’d would be 6 years of battling severe Acne, I am suddenly getting great compliments on my skin? Who would have thought! Now i get the “Oh you are so fine” “Chai, God took his time to make you sha” “You are the girl I have been searching for” – Na so. Thank you gbogboyin! (All of you) LOL.“

It would be really a waste of an experience for me to have gone through battling Acne and bad skin, finally getting through it and not be able to share it with you – Whoever you are; dealing with your acne issues one new product off the shelf at a time. I just want you to know, I have been there, done that, Look at me now! I may be clueless as to how severe your Acne is or isn’t, but as you can see from my progress photos, I battled with really severe acne.“Goodness me,

I literally could not step out of my house! I was home bound for weeks on end, forming “I’m an introvert, I don’t go out much”, when deep down inside I was in so much pain and stress, which obviously helped a few more zits pop out of every free corner of my face. No matter how hard i tried, I just couldn’t get it off my face.“Sorry for the not-so-clear before photos. We never get money buy iphone that year. Hehehe (laughs)Bottle after bottle of toners and astringents, pills, dark bitter concoctions, soaps, creams of varying names and packet design, not to mention an ailing bank account that was deteriorating rapidly from my weekly experimental expenditures on the next big thing promising to clear my face. I bought every soap, every cream, every toner, the big brands, the small brands, the DIY Home made recipes, Chemical peels, the ‘bury your head in a bowl of hot water, wrap a towel around your head and cook your face’ therapy, ‘First urine of the day as a toner’ therapy, Facials and Facials and even more facials, all to no avail. It even seemed at some point that my face would get better and then all of a sudden get even worse again.“Plus it almost seems like every one you know suddenly becomes a skincare specialist when you have acne. You get the“Ha, oma se ooooh! Who do you this kind strong tin na?”“Why don’t you try this and that product?”“You should drink your urine; it would cleanse the toxins from your system”“Use the first instance of your next period as a toner; it has nutrients that will clear it.”I kid you not; I got all of these and more. If you haven’t gotten these kinds of attention before, then E be like your face never jam better pimples. LOL.“And in all this time of worrying about myself and locking myself indoors, what did i do about my Acne? That question should be more like “What didn’t i do?”Ok now let’s get real. The bigger question now would probably be “How did I do it? How did i get my skin so clear of Acne?” Truth is you might even be asking these questions now, without asking how long it took. That’s what happens with Acne, or any skin issue for that matter. We want it off now now.“Unfortunately, the bad news is, It is not going to just up and leave your face like a visitor who came for lunch. As a matter of fact the more you worry about it, and disturb your face on and on about it, the more it lingers. So the first tip I am going to give you,’

“1. Worry LessAs much as you are going to care for your skin with hopes of getting better, you also need not worry about it so much. I didn’t notice any huge improvement on my face until I began to let it be

.“2. Ditch the Astringents and Alcohol. Use an organic toner“This worked for me amazingly. As soon as I stopped the constant swirling of an alcohol infused cotton ball around my Acne eroded skin, i noticed a dramatic improvement with my skin. I haven’t bought or used Acne clearing astringents in the past 3 years and i am the happier for it. Pure rose water should do you just fine. What I use: A mix of Vitamin C serum in my Rose water. Vitamin C serum helps renew dead surface cells and fades dark spots left by Acne.“Sutirosewater“Our skin has the unique ability to renew itself over time, replacing dead skin cells of the surface/epidermis. This is totally dependent on the activity of the epidermal stem cells. And you have the power to increase the efficiency of this process or cause a major decline, depending on what you apply topically and what you feed your body. This brings me to food!“

3. Change your diet. Or improve it.“Foods for acne photo Instead of investing your hard earned money on drugs and skin care products over and over, how about adding fruits and vegetables to your diet. The good news is that the foods that happen to be good for your skin are also good for your overall health. What I noticed was a huge change in the feel of my skin one particular week when I decided to increase my intake of Oranges and Citrus fruits. My skin felt smoother and seemed to glow, which was weird for me as i always had to wear foundation to get that before.Vitamin E is also very vital for the overall health of your skin and since the human body cannot produce Vitamin E naturally it should essentially be consumed from external sources. What you need: A diet rich in Antioxidants, this means More Vitamins, A, C and E and Omega -3: oranges, grapefruit, papayas, carrots, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, strawberries, kiwis, red and green peppers, tomatoes, vegetables, broccoli, mangoes, oranges, Brussels sprouts, Nuts, fish oil

.“4. Water“Water should become your best friend if it isn’t already. 8 glasses of water a day. I beg you to try this strictly for 1 week and see what difference you experience on your skin. It would help to flush toxins out and even do your kidneys and liver a favor. And when those babies are working smoothly, guess what happens on the surface? Your skin would literally smile! That’s when you notice a glow that you didn’t think was there before. What I do: 1 glass + 2 limes or 1 lemon first thing in the morning and last thing before I go to bed. In between 6 other glasses of water

.“5. Enough with the Scrubbing!!“Scrub your face morning, scrub again at night, wake up tomorrow and do it all over again like say I nor get work. Seriously, Stop. You are doing more harm than good by scrubbing and scrubbing ever so often. “Your face needs time to heal; it needs time to renew itself. The more you scrub the more your pores stay open, increasing your risk of sunburns and more zits developing into spots held tightly together creating little communities and townships on your skin. I recommend a light touch exfoliation once a week and see how you can improve from there to twice a week. What I do: I use Honey + Sugar or Shea butter + Sugar for exfoliating my skin“

6. Cleansing“You should always cleanse or wash your facial skin with a soft touch. All that gra-gra washing doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to rinse off and have the acne falling to the floor. You are doing more harm than good to your skin. What I use: The good old African black soap never seems to tire me. Whether you get your soap from Lagos or Ghana, if it is traditionally made, it becomes my best friend. I do a mix of Black soap, Honey and Lemon till it becomes a sort of washing liquid. No water. Your honey and Lemons would be just enough to liquefy Yoruba-Black-Soap

“7. Sunscreen“Acne makes your skin even more susceptible to sun burns which it why it seems the spots gets darker and darker no matter how hard you try. You should be wearing sun screen on a daily basis to prevent more damage. Choose a sunscreen with SPF 30 and higher.“

8. Less Makeup“This is a no brainer really. You want to minimize your use of makeup as much as you can tell your skin is in a better condition. Makeup clogs your pores and makes it even difficult for your skin to breathe, let alone smile. Plus we both know you would need a hell lot of product to cover those zits up. So please bear for a while, do without it when you can. Your skin smiling days are only weeks ahead trust me. And if you do wear makeup, ensure to take it all off before going to bed

.“9. It gets better with time!“This is so true, well depending on how early you stop worrying so much about your skin. I used to have 4 big zits appear on my forehead and chin as soon as the monthly came knocking. Infact, I stopped checking my calendar and started telling it was time just by the acne popping out. Now, I don’t even get them anymore. Not one pimple! My Mom says my body grew out of it, and my hormones balanced out with age and I would like to believe that. However depending on genetics and other hormonal factors, this would likely vary from person to person.“

10. Believe“As queer as these sounds, it is probably the best tip I would be giving you. Just believing that your skin would clear up in no time is enough to calm your nerves, have the good vibes flowing, have your heart pumping nicely and reducing stress, and in all reflecting improvement on the surface.

So be calm, sincerely believe that your skin is going to get better and begin to imagine all the beautiful pictures you’d soon be showing off of your Acne-less skin.“There you have it guys! I do hope this has helped you in some way. My skin isn’t perfect yet, a couple of fading spots here and there but i can sha waka (walk around) without Makeup now and not worry about people looking at me funny. LOL.”

Toyin aimakhu talks about marriage.

About to celebrate her 1 year wedding anniversary with hubby Johnson, Nollywood actress Toyin Aimakhu in a chat with radio queen, says a lot of women set their marriages up for failure right from day one. While trying to defend why she said she has no one in her family that will support her if she says she wants to leave her husband today, Toyin told queen,

Trust me, a lot of ladies lie to themselves. Let me cite an example - if you are with a man, if the man does not love you, you will know. If the man is not the kind of man you can live with, you will know. That's why relationships are necessary. When Liz cut in that it's possible for a married man to act like he loves you, easily trick and deceive a single lady for as long as he wants, Toyin continued:

That means you don't have time for the relationship. I cannot have a relationship with a man without knowing if the man is married or not. Come on. Am I stupid? Why won't you take your man's phone? Why won't your man [let you take his phone?]•queen.you take your man's phone? Are you sure?Toyin: Sure! Why won't I take his phone? The bible says when you are married, you people become one..•

Queen. So you look at your husband's phone regularly? Toyin: I don't have to look at his phone regularly. His phone is my phone and my phone is his phone. So, I know everybody. If I don't know the person my husband is talking to, then there's something. I have to know everything. The only time I don't know what my husband is doing is when he wants to have... say... a surprise party for me. And.. come on.. I have to know everything.

I m not psychologically ready for marriage. ICE PRINCE.

I can’t say because of what I have, that I am okay to get married, No!, I don’t think I am mentally ready for marriage. I think before one could get married, one needs to attain certain level of understanding and awareness. I don’t think I have those qualities just yet” the rapper revealed when he was asked the reason why he is still single.

The singer, who claims his baby mama is cool with his decisions, is reportedly said to be in London currently, filming the video for his song titled “Mercy”.Expected to make cameo appearances in the “Mercy” video are star artistes Wizkid and

Lies njgerian guys will tell you to avoid condoms

For some reason, there are a lot of dudes in this world who seem to have a personal vendetta against condoms. I don’t know, I guess they just really like getting girls pregnant and spreading STDs. That’s really the only reason I can think of as to why a guy, or any person for that matter, wouldn’t want to wear a condom during sex.

Condoms are completely necessary, especially if you’re having casual sex. We’re all reminded of this all the time, yet guys out there are still constantly making excuses as to why they can’t wear a condom. Honestly, it’s annoying, not to mention repetitive. And no matter which of these excuses you hear, I can almost guarantee that it’s a lie and something you shouldn’t listen to. So, to warn you, here are 11 excuses guys will give for not wearing a condom. We’re calling BS – and you should too.1

. I Can't Feel Anything With A Condom OnYes he can. There is even a study that says he's lying. You can absolutely still feel sex with a condom on - and it feels good. Plus, won't it feel better if you know you don't have to worry about stuff? This is probably the most common excuse and also... a lie. Don't fall for it.

2. I'll Pull Out, I SwearLOL OKAY. Hold on a second, I'm laughing too hard to write. Okay, I'm back. First of all, pulling out is not in any way, shape or form a method of birth control. Second of all, have we ever heard of this thing called pre-ejaculate fluid? It's when a tiny amount of semen comes out before the, uh, big finish and it can get you pregnant. Third, pulling out does nothing to protect you against diseases. Lastly, I bet that the majority of the time, he will "forget" to pull out.

3. But I Never Use Condoms And It's Always Been OkaySee the expression on this girl's face? That should be what you look like when a guy says this to you. How do you think "I've never used one" is going to convince a girl not to use one? Oh, yo

u've NEVER used one? So you've had unprotected sex with other girls? Okay cool, I'm down with that. SAID NO ONE EVER.4. I'm Clean, I've Been TestedDo you know for a fact he's been tested? Did he show you results? Did he tell you about his trip to the doctor? When exactly was he tested? Was he with anyone after that? This statement alone is way too vague to be taken seriously. It's easy to lie about this in the heat of a moment... you need to be absolutely sure before you take his word for it. Even then - you can still get pregnant!

5. You're On The Pill, It's FineUh, no, it's not. Birth control pills will only protect you against getting pregnant. If this dude has an STD or something, you'll still get it. So, not fine

.6. I Don't Have One Right NowOkay? There's this thing called the drugstore, where you can go and buy condoms almost any time you want! Have you ever heard of it?

7. They ALWAYS Break AnywayNice try, but no they don't. If you use them right, a condom won't break. I mean, yeah, sometimes it happens, but that's a ridiculous way of looking at anything.

8. I'm AllergicSuuuure you are. Yes, it's completely possible to be allergic to latex condoms, but it's also possible that he's lying because only about 1 percent of the population is. And if he really is allergic? You can be like, "Oh, to latex? Cool, there are other kinds of condoms you can still use, like polyurethane ones." BAM.

9. You Don't Trust Me?Ooooh, this is a sneaky and manipulative one. This guy is trying to guilt you into having sex with him without a condom. Moral of the story? Don't have sex with him at all.

10. Condoms Don't Fit MeOh honey, no. I promise you that your guy isn't so big that any kind of condom can't fit him. There are these things called Magnums and they're available basically everywhere, so...

I'm sure his manhood can handle it.11. I Haven't Had Sex In SO Long, It's FineIt doesn't matter if he's gone three weeks or three years without having sex - he could still be carrying STDs or STIs. Oh and did I mention that having a dry spell doesn't mean you can't get a girl pregnant? Plus, this is SUCH a line.

Jim iyke speaks about his late mum.

Last week, the blogosphere was bubbling with the news of the death of the mother of popular Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke. The 67 years old woman died on Monday, March 24, 2014. In a press statement made available to radio queen,by the actor’s publicist, Mitch Ngaman, it was stated that Jim Iyke’s mother,

“Mrs Ngozi Gladys Okelue Esomugha, was born on May 3, 1947, and succumbed to a long battle with illness.”The statement also quoted Jim Iyke to have said, “she (her late mum) was a force of nature. My big sis, my 1st wife, my confidante, my rock, my critique, my greatest fan and regal leader.“

She was a radiant, gorgeous woman with a smile bigger than the sun and always ready to embrace anyone for all the good and even wrong reasons.“My sun is gone. The dull numbing ache in my heart will never be pacified by any woman alive. Not my lover, sisters nor even a daughter I may one day bear.“

The relationship of a mother and an only son is uniquely eternal and spiritual, transcending human comprehension. Mine with Gladys is even far strangely beyond that.“They say it’s a blessing if a son buries his mother and not the other way around. I'm not sure they’re entirely right.“

They also said one never recovers from the loss of their mother. I hope they are right! May I never recover from the memories of your celestial love, sacrifices, warmth, your contagious laughter and merciless wit.“Your enthusiasm for life and service of others was infectious. I’ll miss you each and every waking moment of my life. I know you're in a better place now.“I’ll carry on everything you stood for ‘til my last days.“You came and saw and conquered.“Adieu Gladys from your boy Jim.“I love you till the last breathe I take.”Meanwhile, the family is yet to announce the funeral rites.

Nigeria and ghana rap collaboration

Two young female rappers, Samera Buari and Splash, from Ghana and Nigeria respectively are warming up for a spectacular collaboration that will feature a fusion of two contrasting rapping styles.

Both Splash and Samera have dropped hints of an impending single though they did not indicate exactly when they would be dropping the sound.“We are like sisters from another mother and we are planning on doing something together and you will definitely hear it first

when we are done. But trust us it will be appealing to your ears,” Samera said.“It is great being in Ghana. Like Samera said we are like sisters now. Just watch out for us,” Splash stated. Both rappers have been considered as lyrically talented, with Samera rapping in English and Splash in her indigenous Nigerian language.

The idea behind the collaboration is for the two promising artistes to flirt with the idea of fusing their respective styles to create a unique style in their upcoming single.Samera formerly known in showbiz as Esbee, was former member of the all-female group, D3, and is the daughter of veteran musician and movie producer Alhaji Sidiku Buari.Splash, on the other hand, has been doing serious rap music in the last four years.

I did not run away from home.,,,, DJ SWITCH

Nigeria’s sensational rapper, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, who was crowned Africa’s first X-Factor winner last year, has attributed her success to hard work and prayer. This dynamic all-round 29 years old entertainer spoke with radio queen, on her pathway to fame, correcting the people’s popular wrong perception of her away from home and her undying passion for music.

How is life treating you after X Factor?

I thank God for my life. Life after X-Factor has changed for good. It’s the only obvious thing that can happen after a show like that. I feel like I’m closer to my dreams. Now, I can’t really move freely as before, going out is somehow restricted. I’m more careful; people are watching and expecting much from me after the show

.With the new status of yours, do you intend to rebrand the name DJ-Switch?

There may be a re-branding, but the truth is that I’m a DJ. Though, a lot of people think I only sing but I can be DJ-Switch when I am on the steel wheel in events, and when I’m performing at another event as a musician, it can be Switch.

Any project presently?

Yea, I’m recording albums, promoting my songs. Though, I have had quite a number of setbacks in life but I don’t think that shouldn’t stop anyone from doing what they are supposed to do. Presently, I’m in the studio, recording and the rest will be said later

.A lot of people know you as a rapper, are you still maintaining that role or venturing into another genre of music?I

will say the X-Factor competition brought out some hidden talents in me. I didn’t even know that I can rap, and at the same time sing and dance, but with the help of the show, I can do virtually anything I set my mind on. So, I won’t just be rapping, I will be singing, not just a style. I can do reggae, play guitar, and basically entertain

.Do you think you’ve achieved your dreams?

Well, everyone wants to be the best in whatever they delve into and most especially in the entertainment circuit but it isn’t just about what you want; someone has to work for it to be the best. My aim is to be the best and I always say that being the best isn’t that you are the only one people are looking up to, it’s about doing something nobody can do or that will be very difficult for others to do. My aim is to be number one in anything I’m doing.

How was your journey so far in the entertainment industry?

The journey so far has been good; the show was a lot of hard work and by the special grace of God, I emerged winner. After the show, my experience soared, and the realization of my dream is another good experience. Though, there were hiccups and bad moments but I wouldn’t say anything about it but my greatest belief is God’s time is the best.

Talking about your formal group Da Pulse, why did you leave and do you regret leaving the group?

First of all, I didn’t leave the band. The group is a wonderful band and we are still very much in touch. God decides because sometimes there were things that are not really meant to be, and sometimes they are. Sometimes you should just consider the factor around you, I’m grateful for the experience that united us together; we’ve learnt our mistakes and are linking-up on how to deal with them. We were much younger then and we didn’t really know how to handle fame; nobody leaves the band. Da Pulse is still strong together as a group and I can’t really say there is a musical group that has come out and beaten us; we are still very much in touch with one another. In recent time,

what have you learnt in life, with the things happening around you and the changes?

I’ve learnt how to be patient and give gratitude to God, because in recent time certain things have happened that if I hadn’t believed in God would have put me in a lot of trouble. So that’s why I will always say every delay and disappointment is a blessing.

There were speculations that you were not in good terms with your mum ; how true is that?

Let me correct that impression. It’s very funny how I say something and people misunderstood the meaning. I did not run away from home like a prodigal son. I didn’t leave home without my mother’s consent. First of all, I’m well above 18, so I can leave home if I want to, but what I meant when I was on stage was, you know when your soul is passion driven that you forget going home from time-to-time because you are bent on achieving your dream. I’ve been chasing the dream for so long and when I got it, I was excited. Every good family wants the best for its children; families are always the encouragement the children need. They can entice a child with a job in a big company if there’s any opportunity there or a job in an oil company. I studied Geology, and my family has done more what I mentioned to keep me at home but I blatantly rejected the offer by saying no. I did not return home for the fear of being forced to work in companies like Shell. All I wanted to do is music. So I never ran away from home.

How about your daughter?

My daughter is good. I don’t want to say anything about her to the public. My focus is music and more music.

Any plan of tying the knot soon ?

Drop it! Marriage isn’t the next programme on my agenda. I have the green light to the mainstream of music industry. Marriage is good but for now, it will be like a distraction from the goal.

What should your fans expect from you soon?

People should expect my new singles. They should expect a show like no other one from me. I always say to my manager, you can’t play songs because people are singing; there must always be value for money and I always guarantee my family and I mean my family at large, talking about people that are at home with me, people that love me out there, people that scouted me. When they buy ticket to come and watch my stage performance, they won’t regret time and money invested. My fans should expect my new single in the nearest future and when it comes out, it will be a narration of my life story telling the people where I am coming from and where I am going.

What keep you going?

God!

Open letter to my son,,, Daniel ademinokan.

Daniel Ademinokan who is alleged to be Stella Damascus new husband and who Doris Simon's ex-husband, daniel and doris had a son together while they were still married...the goodnews is that their little boy David turned six yesterday and he got a beautiful open letter from his dad.Read the letter below:

Dear David,

I want to start by wishing you a very, very happy birthday. It feels just like yesterday when the doctor placed you in my arms. Its been 6 amazing, breath-taking and spectacular years. Wow! Dave, you truly changed my life forever. I vividly remember the way you starred at me from you crib wondering to yourself.

Who is this big black man starring down at me?” and gave me the smile that melted my heart. You have given me moments that I will cherish for the rest of my life.On this very special day, I pray that God’s favor, love, peace, mercy and grace will follow you every single day of your life. You were created to change the world for good and to put a smile on the faces of all mankind. I pray that you will be a solution provider, a source of joy for all and a chronic lover of God. You shall be the head and never the tail. Nations will come to you for solutions to their problems and you will be the pillar they will lean on. They will identify the grace of God on your life.

Dave, you know I love you with every molecule in my body and I will gladly lay down my life for you. I promise to be the best father any child can ever hope for. Why won’t I aim for that when I have the best son that any parent can ever dream or hope for? Yes, you are the best son on the planet. I promise to be a much better father to you than my father ever was to me. I promise to put you on the right path to greatness following only God’s plan for your life. Not my plan...God’s plan.Thank you for being a source of strength to your daddy

. You are like a 20 year old stuck in the body of a 6 year old kid. You are not just a son but a great friend. You always make sure there is a smile on my face and even when I scold you for running around inside the house (because you know its a law. No running in the house!) with tears in your eyes, you still do silly things that make me burst into uncontrollable laughter. I am grateful to God for giving me a son like you. At just 6 years old, you have already made me a proud father. When you brought home your certificate of excellence from school as the top student in class, you were scared when you saw tears in my eyes.

Dave, those were tears of joy because you are fulfilling all the promises God has made over your life.David, seeing the smile on your face every morning is nothing but pure heaven. I love the way you dance to every beat. You even dance to the music of every commercial that comes on TV. The fact that you now dance like a white kid is more amusing and you know it but you still won’t stop when I tease you about it. We need to get your rhythm back dude. LOL. Maybe I threw out the Whiz Kid CD too soon. LOL. I love the way you laugh when I do my very horrible British accent and you say, “Daddy, that doesn't sound British at all”. It makes you crack up anyway.

Then you do yours that sounds like you’re from another planet. In everything you do, always put God first, family next, then your career/work should follow. Don’t every change that order because you will regret it. Don’t let anything take God’s place in your life; not money, not family, not fame. Nothing. When you have God and you work according to his will and his way, everything in your life will fall in place. Do not place your career or wealth above your family because when the chips are down, the family at home is where you run to.

Love your family and always say it. Tell them everyday. Say it like you've never said it before. Don’t hesitate to make that phone call to your family or send a text only to say, “I am thinking of you and I want to say I love you” or “Thank you for being there for me.”BuBu, don’t be afraid to dream big and to chase those dreams. The world will tell you that your dreams are unachievable and lofty. Don’t worry, they can’t achieve it because they are not you. You can do anything you set your heart to do. Think it. Believe it. Achieve it. I tell you that every single day and we both know that we have achieved some phenomenal things in this life, right?

Don’t wait for other people’s validation before you do what you have to do. As long as it is right with God and right in your heart, and the Holy Spirit in you does not question it, do it.You don’t have to go the way of the multitude. Don’t be afraid to do something great because only a few people have dared to. The greatest people that ever lived and and changed the world were mostly the minority. They stepped away from the norm and probably broke all protocol. (We have talked about that before haven’t we?Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Never be afraid to fall. But always remember that in every mistake made, there is a lesson to be learnt.

Whenever you fall, there must be something you need to pick up from the floor that will help you as you get up and continue your journey through life. In life, you will make mistakes but always make sure that there is a serious lesson learnt from that mistake so you don’t make the same one again. It’s important that you not only learn from your mistakes, but also from the mistakes that others have made.Including your father. You and I have spent several nights talking, laughing, playing, building space ships and eating potato chips with soda till 3am. You have seen me cry at night all by myself and you have been a source of strength even to your daddy.

Don’t be afraid to cry, even as a man. It helps to let it all out once in a while but as soon as the tears are gone, get back on your feet and face the world with your head held up high.Value friendship. Good friendship. Never be selfish in your relationship with people. What you cannot tolerate, don’t do to others. Don’t make promises you can’t keep. Learn to say no when you have to say no so you don’t get entangled in commitments that will become a burden to you eventually. Don’t let anybody change the core of who you are.

Don’t let circumstances or the world destroy the purity of your heart. The world is a complicated place to live in. Not because God made it so, but because the humans in it have made it complicated. In all you do, look for the beauty in the world, the honesty and the positive. Living in a complicated and struggling world does not mean you have to struggle and be complicated. Don’t get caught up in their vices. Don’t get involved with the madness around you. Fix your eyes on the positive. Fix your eyes on God. Greatness awaits you David. I have seen it. I can feel it. I know it.I know you always joke about making all the money we will ever need when you’re 6 years old . Emm...dude, you’re 6 now. You wanna start paying part of the mortgage now? LOL.

Remember that a portion of that money also goes to your mummy because she loves you very much. Remember, family is very important. But right now, focus on your school and keep your eyes on God.When you look back on these words in Twenty years, I need you to know that they are from the heart of a man who is so proud to be your father.David, you have touched the lives of everyone around you with your honesty, your purity, your smile and your dance moves. May God never take his eyes off you and may His peace always be with you. Happy Birthday David and I love you more than words can ever express.

From your daddy,
Daniel.

I wont forgive jim iyke....hajiya habiba abubakar

I really don’t know why this interview was granted. But   Hajiya Habiba Abubakar granted them this interview, after Jim Iyke’s Mom, who she took care of, passed away few days ago. It was a question and answer session. Find it below;

BON: How did you feel when you heard the death of Jim Iyke’s mother?Habiba: Well I didn’t feel good  but knowing her fully well, her death is a rest to herself, she has suffered enough.BON: Your NGO helped her in the past? To what extent was your help to her?

Habiba: Well, I first took her to London for a complete medical check up. She had high blood pressure, high Cholesterol and needed knee replacement, as they said in UK. See copy of her medical report (c/o me). Her consultant suggested that her knee replacement should not take place till she is strong because she was very week. So we allowed her to rest, she stayed in my house for five days then I dropped her at Manchester in her daughters place

.BON: But we heard you took her to India too?

Habiba: Yes we went to India all under my NGO, elderly and the poor. The Mother , Father, Nkechi, Njide and Uche, then later Jim joined us from Cameroon after about Three days. She was admitted in Sir Gangaram Teaching Hospital under the care of Doctor Manish a neurologist because of the stroke she suffered. And the father had a prolonged eye problem, he had a surgery in Kaduna and they rendered one of his eye useless, so I said he too should come and let him get checked. (See picture of hospital admission)

.BON: You have done so much for this family, where did it go wrong?

Habiba: You see, nobody will do this to my mum and then I start a fight with that person, my mum will deal with me seriously. You can’t do wrong and include my mum, she will do the right thing even if you will die but this case, the mother was helpless because they do only what their children tell them to do, because they feed them. My mum if you feed her or not she will do the right thing, even if she will go hungry. And they lie a lot this guys, yes! they lie a lot

BON: Has he finished paying your 16.5m?

Habiba: Not yet, we are still in court. The case is even coming up on the 16/4/2014.BON: Will you forgive him now that the mother is dead?Habiba: Is not about forgiveness because Mummy is dead. Please don’t join the two issues together. That is Business  investment, how can I forget such an amount? Business with me is Business and gift is gift. This money was an investment for my Children and he must pay it, as simple as that. But I wish Ngozi Gladys Okelue peace ( RIP )

Sneakers. ? New item for ladies

Sneakers have become fashionable shoe choices for many people and celebrities like Eva Alordiah, who wear them to red carpet events. This type of shoe has a story of heroes, innovators, legends, which are bound together by the love for sport through innovations, leadership and contributions to the evolution and popularity of basketball, tennis, etc. This footwear has forever entangled itself to the souls of lovers of sport (men, women and children). In recent times, it has been updated with new materials, colours, prints and special features.

The footwear has continued to trend, thereby providing a creative outlet for the rock/music stars performing on stage and actors on the big screen. This shoe, which is designed to provide enhanced flexibility and support, has gained more popularity and has become a favourite footwear for numerous groups. It is easy to get into the mindset that an entirely new wardrobe is necessary, after all, denim cut-offs and sandals are no longer going to cut it.

But, there are probably various items in your wardrobe such as sneakers that are just waiting to be envisaged and stylishly renovated.Though they may seem like the least exciting footwear options you own, but when paired with skinny jeans, plain tank top, skirts (short or long), the outfit takes on an entirely new vibe , thereby, totally transforming just about any look.Whether you are short or tall in height, you can’t resist a good pair of canvas. Wear it with a loose black dress and a shirt over, a feminine look will also be achieved.

Wearing them as much as the way heels are worn, pair them with anything, it just doesn’t matter if people think it looks good or not, as long as it is comfortable. You don’t have to wear them like you are going for a walk, you can dress them up and they can look really fly too. Chucks, a much underrated shoe type, are the original gym shoe. This bold fashion statement is also making its debut in the Nigerian fashion scene. With the way celebrities, especially the female musical artistes, are looking for sophisticated ways to turn heads and achieve a bold and surreal interpretation of their personality, many of them are laying off those pumps they can’t walk with and ruin feet.

Elikem and pokello of BBA become ambassadors.

The organisers of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria have named Big Brother stars, Pokello and Elikem, as its new ambassadors. According to the organizaers, they say the event, scheduled to take place in May at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, will provide equal opportunities for emerging and top fashion designers.

“The event aims to bind emerging talents in the fashion industry, connect them to the right people, showcase them to their customers and provide them with a platform to grow and create awareness.

The ceremony this year will be wrapped-up with a gala fashion show by veteran fashion designer Hajia Abba Folawiyo .The two-day event will have patrons like Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas, Hon. Abike Dabiri, Senator Daisy Danjuma and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija in attendance.

Patrick elis speaks about eva.

Emerging Nigerian music video director, Patrick Elis, has officially debunked rumours that he was dating his client artiste Eva Elordiah. It would be recalled that late last year; speculations went viral that the young music director was in a sizzling romance with to Nigeria female rapper Eva.“

People can say whatever they like, but I and Eva are not in any relationship. She is my client and we are just friends nothing more. Infact, I am in a serious relationship and my girlfriend is not even a public figure neither is she into music.”

The young dude, who gained attention after he shot the video of Wizkid's 'Holla At Ur Boy’ hit single few years ago, has since become the preferred man to shoot music videos of top Nigerian artistes.
